Oh, our messy, messy house. Usually I have it together, and the house is in order (as most of you know, I'm a little neurotic; much like Monica on Friends)... not so today. I'm dead tired from this crazy week; I have a thousand things to do that are relatively urgent; and I have a bit of tummy ache. But rather than tackle all of this, I think I'm going to read a little, and then I'm going to go to sleep, and I'm not really sure for how long, we'll see where the nap takes us...
Do you guys ever get like this? Morph into a polar opposite of your usual self? Maybe both sides, neurotic Lisa and sloth Lisa are the real picture of who I am, but regardless its so nice to play life by ear sometimes. Go where God takes you; to not be controlled by schedules and lists and agendas. Ray is a play it by ear guy. I've learned a lot in our marriage, thus far, and I'm loving his way of life. Its like a nice deep breath in. I have come to know that God brings us into rest times sometimes. Tonight is clearly a rest time...

I have to say that I am Sloth Char alot these days, and you usually can't see the floor in my livingroom, along with many other rooms in my house(I have 2 little tornados that regularly total my house). There is no Monica in me, but instead Kris is more the Monica type. Your posts always make me laugh, keep 'em comin'

Yes, God takes us into times of rest, and although I feel like a six year old who doesn't want to go to bed, it is often exactly what I need!

oh yes. the opposites of what is me is also me. keen anna = super lazy anna, sometimes all in the same day. But do enjoy the time you are given rest :) take care!
I find that when I am alone and my family is gone I turn into a bearded guy who would enjoys sitting on the couch watching sports and drinking non-alcoholic beer all day. Just kidding.
